Naseej Appointed to Develop Madinat Khalifa Project under the Government Land Development Programme.

The project comprises 2,500+ residential units and further strengthens public-private partnership efforts to deliver integrated housing solutions for citizens.

Naseej has announced its appointment to develop the Madinat Khalifa project as part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning’s Government Land Development Programme for major projects. The appointment reflects continued efforts to strengthen public-private partnerships in support of initiatives aimed at expanding suitable housing options for citizens and accelerating housing development across the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The appointment was announced during the opening ceremony of the Innovation Summit, where Her Excellency Mrs. Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi, Minister of Housing and Urban Planning, signed the project development agreement with Mr. Amin Al Arrayed, Chief Executive Officer of Naseej, in the presence of His Excellency Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister. The signing underscores the project’s importance within Bahrain’s housing development agenda and reflects the Kingdom’s direction towards greater private-sector participation in the delivery of major housing projects. The project will involve the development and construction of 2,500+ residential units in Madinat Khalifa as part of an integrated development designed to meet the needs of beneficiaries of the programmes and financing solutions offered by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning.

Naseej’s appointment to develop the project marks a new milestone in the company’s journey within the housing sector and builds on its experience in developing and delivering housing projects in partnership with the public sector. This includes the successful development and handover of more than 2,600 social housing units in Madinat Salman and Al Luwzi District in 2017.

تعيين شركة نسيج لتطوير مشروع مدينة خليفة ضمن برنامج تطوير الأراضي الحكومية

أعلنت شركة نسيج عن تعيينها لتطوير مشروع مدينة خليفة، ضمن برنامج تطوير الأراضي الحكومية للمشاريع الكبرى التابع لوزارة الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني، في خطوة تعكس مواصلة تعزيز الشراكة بين القطاعين العام والخاص لدعم الجهود الرامية إلى توفير المزيد من الخيارات السكنية الملائمة للمواطنين وتسريع وتيرة التنمية الإسكانية في مملكة البحرين.
وجاء الإعلان عن تعيين شركة نسيج خلال حفل افتتاح مؤتمر الابتكار في قطاع السكن الاجتماعي، حيث وقّعت سعادة السيدة آمنة بنت أحمد الرميحي، وزيرة الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني، اتفاقية تطوير المشروع مع السيد أمين العريض، الرئيس التنفيذي لشركة نسيج، وذلك بحضور كريم من معالي الشيخ خالد بن عبدالله آل خليفة، نائب رئيس مجلس الوزراء، في خطوة تؤكد أهمية المشروع ضمن مسيرة تطوير القطاع الإسكاني، وتعكس توجه المملكة نحو تعزيز الشراكة مع القطاع الخاص في تنفيذ المشاريع الإسكانية الكبرى.
ويشمل المشروع تطوير وإنشاء +2,500 وحدة سكنية في مدينة خليفة، ضمن مشروع متكامل يستهدف تلبية احتياجات المستفيدين من البرامج والخدمات التمويلية التي تقدمها وزارة الإسكان والتخطيط العمراني.
ويمثل تعيين شركة نسيج لتطوير المشروع محطة جديدة في مسيرة الشركة في قطاع الإسكان، وامتداداً لخبرتها في تطوير وتنفيذ المشاريع الإسكانية بالشراكة مع القطاع العام، ومن أبرزها تجربة تطوير وتسليم أكثر من 2,600 وحدة سكنية اجتماعية في مدينة سلمان ومنطقة اللوزي في عام 2017.
