A BEAUTIFUL COMING TOGETHER

Some evenings stay with you long after they end.

An evening of stories, scent, connection and conversation, set within the extraordinary surroundings of the raconteur. A gathering of wonderful people, beautiful food, Bruny Island oysters, sparkling w**e from House of Arras, and a glimpse into Craig’s vision for The Raconteur Farm and what lies ahead in 2027.

It was a privilege to bring together so many things I hold dear: the places that move us, the people who shape them, and the stories and experiences that connect us.

My heartfelt thanks to Craig and the Raconteur team for their generosity in sharing this very special place, to everyone who joined us, and to the wonderful people who helped bring the evening to life.

OFF-MARKET OPPORTUNITY

4 Church St
Hobart

Some addresses possess a quality that is difficult to replicate. At 4 Church Street, it is the combination of an established historic streetscape, the enduring presence of St Andrews Park adjoining the property and the remarkable convenience of being just moments from the heart of Hobart.

With its handsome street presence and understated period façade, the property makes an immediate impression. Beyond, the accommodation unfolds across two levels, offering generous proportions, original character and a flexibility that lends itself to a variety of living arrangements.

“Hercules”
253 Elizabeth St
North Hobart

Distinctive in both its history and its design, Hercules is a home that rewards a closer look. Behind its handsome sandstone facade lies a surprisingly light filled residence, with generous rooms and a layout that offers considerable flexibility.

Built by Joseph Moir, one of early Tasmania’s notable builders, Hercules has a history as distinctive as the house itself, forming part of a legacy that also includes the historic Taroona Shot Tower and St Mark’s Church at Pontville.

Almost two centuries later, the house retains the presence and character that make historic homes so compelling. Soaring ceilings, generous proportions and an appealing amount of natural light create an immediate sense of space, while original fireplaces, timber shutters and other period details speak quietly to its history.

HERCULES | SOMETHING TRULY EXTRAORDINARY

253 Elizabeth Street, Hobart

Some houses are simply impossible to replicate.

Dating to the early 1830s, Hercules is a remarkable sandstone residence where nearly two centuries of Tasmanian history meet an extraordinarily considered renovation. Rich in character, magnificent in its proportions and beautifully reimagined for contemporary living, it is a home with a presence entirely its own.

A rare piece of Hobart’s history, now available exclusively off-market.

Private viewing by appointment.

Stories, places, people; and the connections between them.

An evening of scent, beautiful surroundings and wonderful people, brought together at the raconteur. Because the places we are drawn to, much like the homes we love, are rarely just about what we see. They are about how they make us feel.

SOMETHING TRULY SPECIAL

Last night was something truly special.

An intimate evening at the raconteur, bringing together wonderful people, beautiful stories, extraordinary scent and the very special place that Craig has created within The Consulate.

There was something wonderfully unhurried about the evening; good conversation, beautiful food, oysters from Bruny Island, sparkling w**e from House of Arras, and the opportunity to discover more about Craig’s vision for The Raconteur Farm and what is to come in 2027.

For me, it was also a lovely coming together of a few things that mean a great deal to me | place, people, experience and story.

Thank you to everyone who joined me, and to Craig and the Raconteur team for opening the doors and sharing the story of what they are creating.

A very special evening, in a very special place.
